Yours truly, the LNS Cast and Crew!
(movers and shakers, baby)

Tim Kavanagh
Host/Executive Producer

As a local entertainer, Kavanagh is popular for his work in local independent films, game shows, plays, musicals, improvisational comedy, voiceovers, and event hosting throughout New England, New York and Quebec.

Ironically, Kavanagh began his Burlington acting career with the Champlain College Theater Department while attending the school. He went on to perform in numerous theater productions, appearing on the Flynn Theater stage with Lyric Theatre and also with other local theater companies.
Since the mid 1990’s, Kavanagh has written and performed in countless interactive murder mysteries, several of which he co-wrote, such as "You Bet Your Life" and "Bye Bye Love." He is frequently hired to entertain audiences aboard The Spirit of Ethan Allen III as well as at local restaurants, clubs, and social gatherings.

Having hosted numerous live events, Kavanagh was acknowledged on Entertainment Tonight, for serving as Master of Ceremonies for Jim Carrey at his “wrap” party for the feature film, "Me, Myself, and Irene." He has also hosted local events throughout the state including the Vermont Teddy Bear Company’s popular “Meet the CBS Survivors” event. Kavanagh’s comedy career continued with local comedy troupe Kamikaze Comedy and performed improv comedy at The House of Blues and The Four Seasons Hotel in Chicago.

A national contest to host "The Simpson’s Movie" world premiere took place between towns named Springfield in 14 different states in the summer of 2007.  Kavanagh, who played Homer Simpson, also co-wrote and directed the winning video in which he is seen running through town chasing a giant doughnut made from an inner tube.  Twentieth Century Fox invited Tim to be the Master of Ceremonies for the world premier event in Springfield, where thousands of enthusiastic fans as well as the world press ring assembled.  Producer James L. Brooks, Simpsons creator Matt Groening and Director David Silverman were interviewed by Tim for an episode of LNS that aired on October 13th along with former Phish band members Page McConnell and Mike Gordon.
A graduate of Champlain College, Kavanagh currently works as an account executive at Vermont's largest television station, WCAX-TV.  He resides in Burlington with his wife Sherry and three sons.

Our Director Lee Harnois hails from Northfield, VT; and besides having a reliable automobile, also has a
10 year old son, Jason. This is Lee's second season with LNS as Director, and has also worked at WCAX channel 3 for 12 years under the title of Production Assistant, yet directs the morning news, the noon news, Across the Fence, and You Can Quote Me, along with all the other positions involved with day to day production! Prior to WCAX, Lee's background was in database administration (among other
things); we believe he also worked at IBM for 6 years, though the only evidence for that is his penchant for drinking games and his ability to quote every Marilyn Monroe movie line. Ever.
Lee admits he doesn't have a headshot for this Bio, but we managed to find one searching around the California penal system database.

Jamie Polli has lived and worked in Burlington for over 13 years. Polli has worked in the restaurant business since 1984 and been in management locally since 1996. As only the second graduate to complete the "two plus two" program in Hotel/Restaurant Management at Champlain College, Polli earned his Associates and Bachelor's degree by 1996. Jamie really enjoys Burlington and the lifestyle the local area has to offer. He is an 8-year veteran as Host and Executive producer of his own public access game show, SURVEY SAYS! which airs on local VCAM, channel 15. Jamie also performs in live entertainment venues, including murder mysteries and live interactive game shows. In addition to Survey Says! and Late Night Saturday, Jamie keeps himself very busy enjoying time with his daughter Celia. That's all for now, and remember…."Help control the pet population; have your pets spayed or neutered."

A native of Sun Valley, Idaho Barb ski raced until pursuit of a journalism degree at Saint
Michael’s College distracted her. She has 12 years of TV production experience.
She considers herself to be an editor above all else but also writes, directs, shoots,
narrates and composes music for television, web and digital cinema products.
She has interest in eventually transitioning to the film production world.
She contributes regularly to the Fine Living Network and all the local channels.
Although once interested in acting, she quit after kids tore the tail off her Smuggler’s Notch Mogul
Mouse costume. Ultimately, we hired Barb because she won’t choke in the presence of
great celebrity. Gardener to Arnold Schwarzenegger, she has danced with Bruce Willis,
skied with Marielle Hemmingway, worked onstage with Carlos Santana and baked cookies
for Clint Eastwood. Friend to lost animals & billionaires alike, Barb continues to be part of
LNS because it's just so darn fun.

Hmm, what can we say? Eric is a native Vermonter and loves cardboard, tires, and glow sticks. Feel free to check out his tight pants and attempt to score some digits while he's bustling about between the stage and Audio booth. If you're persistant, he may let you wear his plaid coat.

Aimee Gale is the Guest Relations Coordinator at LNS.  She is a proud native Vermonter.  She graduated from UVM and has been employed at WCAX-TV for nearly 20 years where she is the Human Resources Director.  She loves meeting new people and is amazed by all of the talent in our state!  Her passion is being a mom to two awesome boys, Andrew and Kyle.  When she isn't working at LNS pounding down handfulls of anti-depressants, or at WCAX, she can be found at CVU basketball games or Williston soccer games cheering on her two boys.

A member of the LNS crew from the beginning, this zesty Scorpio loves long walks on the beach wondering what he did with his pants. Critically acclaimed in the hit series "You’re going to get hit by lightning if you don’t get down from there" for his realistic depiction of a Meteorologist on the edge, Chad enjoys bucking popular opinion, surprising atheists and using his eccentricities to fuel the creative process. Raised by wolves, this Vermont native spends most of his time in the rivers and mountains, jumping from precipices with a parachute and performing various random acts of adrenalin. This has provided him with a host of outdoor accreditations and “Don’t ever do this” stories. His background in photography, wilderness education, Youth counseling, music, video production, electrical/tech engineering and Science, make him a creative (and handy) addition to our writing/acting/production/ prison staff. Act now and get a second slicer/shredder absolutely free! Don’t forget to ask about our Tuesday specials. (Don't feel bad, he never gets asked about the Tuesday specials.)

Erin was a Mainer all her life, until Vermont beckoned her with the promise of a great education at St. Micheal’s College (still yet to be determined).  Despite being deprived of the ocean, Erin decided to make Vermont her post college home. Aside from managing the LNS audience and being the ticketmaster, Erin works as a counselor for children and teens, and also volunteers as a child abuse prevention educator.  Erin appreciates the beauty of the human mind and is unceasingly seeking deeper understandings- so her therapist tells her anyway.  She also enjoys artistic expression in all its forms and strives to be surrounded by such.  Erin is currently single and taking applications from qualified male candidates, pending a criminal review and cavity search. (Tim didn't pass, and Jamie never returned from the cavity search)

Wendy suspected she had a talent for writing when she wrote a poem about a dead bird during a summer poetry workshop. Her suspicions were validated when another one of her masterpieces, a note she forged to get off the hook for skipping school in the 9th grade, almost worked. Since those early days, Wendy has enjoyed lots of creative endeavors in the literary and theatrical worlds. She’s been in numerous plays, does improv comedy from time to time, and can also be seen every summer aboard the Spirit of Ethan Allen III, performing the murder mystery dinner theater with LNS host Tim Kavanagh. Wendy is also an LNS Player and dresses up to play the news anchor on Late News Saturday, where she and fellow player, Chad (or in his case, that would be "playah") report on all the "news that's not news." Wendy's day job is as Company Copywriter and PR / Communications Manager for The Vermont Teddy Bear Company (who knew she’d one day be able to parlay those early writing talents into a real career). In her spare time, Wendy enjoys traveling, boating, kayaking, drinking rum and cokes, Thursday nights, and sleeping in.

Originally from suburban Chicago, Susan has experience in various areas of media production including writing, producing and editing for both print and television.   She creates local cable programming and is an award-winning PSA producer as well as a creative consultant providing ideas for fundraisers and special events.  Susan has a master’s degree in early childhood education, taught kindergarten for nine years, and serves on the board of directors for a local non-profit youth services agency. She lives in Richmond with her husband, Ken; and their children, Benjamin and Sonia.
Susan has been an avid television viewer since childhood and misses the good old days of Mary Tyler Moore and The Partridge Family. When not wishing for some quiet time alone in a genie bottle, she may be seen twitching her nose in a pathetic attempt to instantaneously clean the house.
